West's only Dolphin Tour to incorporate a state of the art
HYDROPHONE. This underwater microphone allows us to hear the
dolphins as they swim and communicate with each other! Children
may participate in locating the dolphin and operating the
HYDROPHONE - Earn a certificate of participation.
The
pods of dolphin off of Key West are most often found in the same areas year after
year and these are referred to as the dolphin playgrounds.
It is here that the dolphins swim near enough to our boat allowing
our guests to photograph, listen to and observe wild dolphins in
their natural environment. This safari style tour does not impact
or alter the dolphins behavior in any way.
So
as not to harass the pod, we stay in the vicinity only as long as
they are accommodating, after which we move away and offer other
activities.
If you have selected a private family fun charter, we will focus on your choice of activities
after your dolphin experience.
If you have joined our afternoon dolphin/snorkel group we will be snorkeling
on nearby coral reefs after your Key West dolphin experience.
