Snorkeling in Key West

The clear and calm waters surrounding Key West offer many different snorkeling opportunities. On the Atlantic Ocean side we have the reefs. These parallel the keys anywhere from three to miles offshore from Key largo to West of Key West. The Gulf of Mexico offers patch reefs and ledges. Florida bay offers shallow, hard bottom communities. All of these snorkeling sites support an abundance of tropical fish, sponges, stony and soft corals, sting rays, sharks and turtles
